Car Control Clinic

The goal of the Car Control Clinic is to let drivers experience accident avoidance maneuvers in a safe and controlled environment. We will have instructors to assist in learning.

This is excellent course for drivers of all ages. However, PCA insurance rules must be followed, so minors must have a valid drivers license and be a relative of a PCA member.

One segment will include slalom practice to learn what to do and what not to do when forced to drive near the limit. This can help in avoiding accidents without losing control.

An emergency braking segment will allow drivers to practice maximum braking. Benefits include experiencing ABS and learning threshold braking. A brake and turn element may be added.

A lane change segment will be used to practice emergency avoidance maneuvers, combining braking, turning and stopping.
